设定资料（日文）：黒光りしたその体は誰もが嫌がるゴキブリそのもの。人目を盗み、すばしっこく動き回り、逃げ足は更に速い。攻撃力・防御力はほとんど期待できないが、その計り知れない生命力のため、持久戦になると本領を発揮する。必殺技はゴミを撒き散らす『ドリームダスト』。

在『数码兽大冒险02』的第六话登场，蟑螂兽两兄弟落入了暴龙改造者的控制之下。它们负责守卫着一座隐藏在森林中的黑暗之塔。他们遇到了美美和小京并与他们战斗。在整个战斗中，他们表现出对彼此的兄弟般的爱。在战斗中，小京的铁鹰兽挡在他们和黑暗之塔之间，并在他们攻击时躲避，导致他们摧毁了它，将他们从邪恶环中解放出来。然后他们开始互相争吵和打架，然后朝着相反的方向飞走。
英文版介绍：The two Gokimon brothers fell under the control of two of the Digimon Kaiser"s Evil Rings. They guarded a Dark Tower in a hidden forest. They encountered Mimi and Miyako and battled them. Throughout the fight, they displayed brotherly love for each other. During the battle Miyako"s Holsmon got between them and the Dark Tower and dodged when they attacked causing them to destroy it, freeing them from the Evil Rings. They then began arguing and fighting with each other, then flew away in opposite directions.
(Note: In the English dub, the dialog is rewritten so that they were arguing with each other when they had the Evil Rings on also (so they did not show brotherly love at all.))

蟑螂，泛指属于“蜚蠊目”（学名）的昆虫， 属于节肢动物门、昆虫纲、蜚蠊目（Blattaria），俗称蟑螂，是常见的医学昆虫。蟑螂体扁平，黑褐色，通常中等大小。头小，能活动。触角长丝状，复眼发达。翅平，前翅为鞘翅后翅为膜翅，前后翅基本等大，覆盖于腹部背面；有的种类无翅。不善飞，能疾走。不完全变态。产卵于卵鞘内，约有6000种，主要分布在热带、亚热带地区，生活在野外或者室内。
曾经有生物学家根据蟑螂的生态习性下了一个定论：如果有一天地球上发生了全球核子大战，在影响区内的所有生物包括人类和甚至鱼类等都会消失殆尽，只有蟑螂会继续它们的生活，这是因为通常情况下人类身体所能忍受的放射量为5rems，一旦总辐射量超过800rems则必死无疑。而德国小蠊可以忍受9000~105000rems，美洲大蠊则达到967500rem。（表示辐射剂量。rem剂量当量雷姆(rem) 希[沃特](Sv) 1Sv=100rem）所以即使有核子爆炸，蟑螂也可以幸存下来。美国政府用来消灭蟑螂一年的费用就达到15亿美元，大约是用在防治艾滋病预算的两倍。
它们大多数长相都差不多，但是仔细观察还是能看到有所不同。当前的分类学者将蟑螂分成6000种左右，其中约有50种是害虫，例如大家所常见的亚洲蟑螂。此外美洲蟑螂（美洲大蠊）、德国蟑螂（德国小蠊）、棕色蟑螂和澳洲蟑螂的分布也十分广泛。我国约有200余种，常见的室内蟑螂有10种左右，各地有所不同。常见的有德国小蠊、美洲大蠊 和黑胸大蠊。 [2]
